Meet your coach - Mikko Sulonen, dbt guru

Mikko Sulonen has extensive knowledge of dbt, being a certified dbt developer, and has received dbt's community award. He is the only person in the Nordic countries who has won this award. Mikko is always ready to help new people with all things dbt, whether they are customers, colleagues, or other members of the dbt community.

FAQ

Q: Do we need previous dbt skills to do the training? 

A: No, you do not need previous knowledge of dbt. You do, however, need a foundational understanding of SQL, data warehousing concepts, and some familiarity with version control systems like Git. Having experience with data modeling is also helpful.

 

Q: Can we do this remotely?

A: No. This in-person training is done in a meeting room, face-to-face, together with your instructor and your own team. The training is about learning by doing together, so you would not have a good learning experience doing this online. 

 

Q: What if we don't know what parts of dbt we should learn yet?
