The company Pausedly has used AI for ages to speed up its operations and perform boring manual and repetitive labor.
Suddenly, the company's AI assistant stopped working and strange things started to happen at the office. The AI assistant was suddenly idle and wouldn't take any requests. A slight panic broke loose in the office, and people were forced to go back to their old ways of working, and all modern technology blacked out.
Then there’s the janitor. He seems to be the only one unaffected by the recent events. He’s always been there. Kind. Familiar. But lately… something is off. He feels just a little too…uncanny?
